Tsavo can be visited year round but the dry seasons from June to October and January to March offer the best game viewing. During the dry months, animals congregate around rivers and waterholes, making them easier to spot in the open landscape.
Tsavo is also excellent during the green season from November to May for birdwatching — over 600 species have been recorded in the park.
